Mental Health America of Northern Kentucky & Southwest Ohio

About

This show offers information, resources, and contacts to help first responders overcome the stressors related to their work. It is critical for responders to recognize what stress looks like, to take steps to build resilience and cope with stress, and to know where to go if they need help. Interviews and discussions are offered in each episode to help break the stigma surrounding mental health concerns and to increase resilience for those serving in first responder roles. Hosted by Rich Palmer, retired assistant chief and firefighter/paramedic, now Outreach Coordinator for Mental Health America of Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio.
